One time Member of Parliament languishing in poverty
A former member of parliament in the 1962, the first parliament of Uganda Ali Hasahya is languishing in poverty in his home, in current Butaleja district. The 94 year old Ali Hasahya, who represented South Central Bukedi constituency, what was then known as the Legislative Council or Legco, is living in biting poverty.
