Over 300 acres of the forest in Hoima are depleted
Hundreds of acres of Bujawe Forest Reserve in Buseruka Sub-county, Hoima District have been cleared by encroachers to grow crops and burn charcoal. Area leaders are worried that those who try to save the forest are threatened by people who claim to be powerful politicians and business people.
