Road safety initiative partners with government to train boda boda riders
Boda bodas account for over a third of road accidents in Uganda annually. In response, a new initiative involving the Ministry of Transport, police, and Watu has been launched to train and certify boda boda operators on road safety before they begin operations. The Ministry believes this effort will enhance road safety across the country.
