Rukungiri farmers count losses as areas is hit by hailstorm
Over 2,000 families in the southern division of Rukungiri municipality are facing starvation after hailstorms ravaged their plantations and gardens. This follows a heavy rainstorm that battered the area yesterday, destroying several gardens. Many residents who double as farmers are appealing to the government for assistance.
