Two MPs released on bail, nine activists remanded
Fourteen Forum for Democratic Change Katonga faction leaders were arrested this morning while on their way to present their protest note at the Kenyan embassy in Kampala. This follows the arrest of 36 FDC Katonga faction leaders and activists in Kenya recently. The activists have since been charged with terrorism and remanded. On their way to the Kenyan embassy in Kololo, Kampala, they were intercepted by police and arrested.
