Sandra Nabweteme donates football gear to childhood Academy
Crested Cranes star Sandra Nabweteme generously donated football gear to her childhood academy, Titan Katwe Academy, courtesy of her club Santos Laguna. Arguably Uganda’s greatest female footballer, Nabweteme gifted the academy footballs, training bibs, cones, and ladies' attire. Titan Katwe Academy, a mixed training ground for boys and girls from the Katwe slums and neighboring areas, practices on a small field in Kisule Zone behind Katwe Market.
