Police defend officers sharing money, cite lunch allowance
The police have defended their officers who appear in a video sharing money allegedly received as a bribe at Trusted Arcade in Kikuubo business hub in Kampala. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango says the officers were sharing their lunch allowance from the Uganda Registration Services Bureau, from where they had been deployed to assist in carrying out an operation on counterfeit products.
