23 teams confirmed for University Football League kickoff on September 17
In women's football, 23 teams have been confirmed to participate in this year’s University Football League, which will kick off on the 17th of this month at various universities across the country. The teams were grouped into six groups last evening, with only the top two teams from each group advancing to the next round. Reigning champions Nkumba University are in Group A alongside Busitema University, Islamic University in Uganda, and ISBAT. Uganda Christian University will host the opening game on September 17th against a yet-to-be-identified opponent in Group C.
