Uganda targets growth in Hass avocado exports
The skyrocketing demand for Hass avocados in the European and Middle Eastern markets continues to gain traction and excite farmers. Uganda's priority is to increase export volumes. The government, through the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS), is leading efforts to support the value chain for production. In the EAC region, Kenya leads in exports, with Uganda emerging as a major producer.
