Chaos erupts at Ssegirinya's funeral over ceremony disagreement
There was unprecedented chaos at the funeral of fallen Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya in Butale-Kaddugala village, Masaka after his National Unity Platform failed to agree with the parliamentary leadership on what would have been a befitting ceremony. This resulted in two ceremonies: one at the MP's homestead and another led by Nyendo Mukungwe MP Mathias Mpuuga at the area's primary school grounds. We sought the views of some who observed both events on what they thought should have been the prevailing approach.
