EACOP constructs boreholes to address water shortage in affected districts
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is constructing boreholes in the districts affected by the EACOP line. This is intended to help address the water shortage and lack of clean water in the area. EACOP Deputy Managing Director John Bosco Habomugisha says the main purpose of establishing these boreholes is to promote sustainable water for communities affected by EACOP. Habomugisha made the revelation as he commissioned activities in Mukabara Village, Kiziranfumbi Sub-County, Kikuube District.
