Garbage Crisis Update: Nkumba site and KCCA-Entebbe standoff
Since KCCA stopped dumping garbage at the Kiteezi landfill following its collapse, which claimed dozens of lives, private garbage collectors have struggled to find an alternative dumping ground. Entebbe Town authorities allowed them to dump rubbish in Nkumba for a few days, but this arrangement has expired.
