NMG partners with Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom to boost education
Nation Media Group (NMG) has partnered with Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom to promote education through the Newspaper in Education Project. The partnership was announced during the signing of a memorandum of understanding at the Kingdom Headquarters in Hoima City. Johnson Omolo, General Manager for Africa Broadcasting Uganda Ltd at NMG, expressed enthusiasm for improving literacy levels in the region through the project, which runs every Wednesday in the Daily Monitor. Omuhikirwa of Bunyoro Kitara, Andrew Byakutaga, praised NMG for its contribution to enhancing academic performance in schools within the kingdom and expressed hope that the agreement would significantly benefit education and cultural preservation in his jurisdiction.
