Top 100 SME Gala honors small businesses
Several CEOs have been honored for their resilience in steering through at least six years of business at the Top 100 Gala Dinner, dubbed Celebrating Resilience and Growth. The event, a collaboration involving Nation Media Group, KPMG, and Equity Bank, brought together key players from Uganda’s dynamic business landscape to celebrate excellence and innovation. This year’s survey highlighted a remarkable achievement: over 70% of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda demonstrated exceptional resilience, managing to remain operational for over six years. The Top 100 Survey 2024 tracks the growth and performance of SMEs across Uganda, providing valuable insights into how businesses are expanding, particularly in terms of top-line performance and sales revenue growth. This year, the survey attracted over 180 SMEs from a diverse range of sectors, showcasing the impressive strides Uganda’s business community is making.
