Teen cranes coach trims team to 25 players
After three days in training camp, national under 17 women football coach Sheryl Botes has trimmed her team to 25 players - a final squad that will take on Namibia in the Fifa Women's World Cup qualifiers against Namibia due January 16 and 19 at Nakivubo Stadium in Kampala. A squad of 39 players started preparations for the event on Thursday at Fufa Technical Centre in Njeru. Coach Botes says after observation, the players are in shape and are getting better.
