Looking at the war’s impact on education sector in Sudan
In our series, 'The Ravages of War,' we look at the devastating impacts on education, where the dreams of schoolchildren have been shattered by the conflict in Sudan, one year after conflict broke out. The war between two rival factions of the military government broke out on 15th April 2023. One faction is the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) under Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the other is the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) under the Janjaweed leader Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo.
