Bishop Kisembo condemns brutality against scribes
The Bishop of Rwenzori Diocese in Fort Portal, Reuben Kisembo, has condemned the brutality meted out on journalists during the Kawempe North by-election, where security forces were at the forefront of beating up journalists, an act that Bishop Kisembo condemned. He appealed to security forces to stop brutalizing Ugandans, since the law allows for freedom of expression to have peaceful elections. Kisembo's call came as he commissioned a girls' dormitory at Nyarukoma Secondary School in Kyenjojo District.
