FDC supporters in Bushenyi march for the release of Dr. Kizza Besigye
There have been calls for dissent and public marches demanding the release of former Presidential Candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye. A section of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) supporters in Ishaka, Bushenyi, held a march along the streets, chanting #FreeDrKizzaBesigye and urging the government to ensure the quick release of their party founder, Dr. Kizza Besigye. They implored religious leaders to join the struggle for justice in Uganda.
