Katabi Town Council appeals for health care support in fishing communities
Katabi Town Council has appealed to the government to support the fishing communities with adequate health care. According to Katabi Town Council Mayor Ronald Kalema, malaria, child health care, and HIV-related services are inadequate in government health facilities, while the landing sites still register a high number of bilharzia cases. Kalema was speaking while presiding over an NGO health camp at Tender Grassroots (TGR), where over 100 locals received health care for various diseases.
