NUP caravan causes traffic on Kampala-Mbarara highway
The National Unity Platform party caravan to Masaka City on Friday brought traffic to a slow crawl along the Kampala-Mbarara highway. Motorists were forced to endure several hours of delays due to the slow pace of traffic. The deployed joint security forces lobbed tear gas at the crowd at Kako Junction to divert the group from going through Nyendo Town and the city center.
