Somali community in Uganda raises concerns over human trafficking
The Somali community living in Uganda has raised concerns about the increasing acts of human trafficking that have threatened the lives of many young people. These concerns were raised during the inauguration ceremony of Somali leader Hussein Abuker Hassan as the new Chairman-elect of the Somali community in Uganda. The event was graced by the Minister for Kampala Affairs, Minsa Kabanda, who commended the Somali community for their strong sense of unity and togetherness. She further assured full support from the Ugandan government to the Somali community living in Uganda to foster peace, growth, and economic development.
